ORGANIC DAIRY BUSINESS RISK eCONSULT
The Organic Dairy Business Risk eConsult was designed in conjunction with Organic Meadow Co-operative Inc. to help conventional dairy farmers evaluate the business risk associated with converting to organics. As a personalized program that assesses eleven areas of management and knowledge of organic production, the program uses on-farm dairy budget information to project financial outcomes of transitioning to organic.
Participants work one-on-one with an eConsultant to explore risk management options associated with organic production. This program helps to alleviate the barriers to entry in organic dairy production by providing conventional farmers with a business risk assessment tool and first steps towards pursuing this business venture.

Course Duration:
Once registered, you will have up to 30 days to complete your eConsult. The online connect portion is designed for approximately 10 hours.

Privacy and Confidentiality
eConsults use the financial and personal data of participants. If a participant wishes to withdraw from the eConsult, they can do so at any time and any copies of personal records and data collected will be destroyed or returned within 90 days of program completion.
